Fire Station 41 and Administrative Office Project

The City of Camas and the Camas-Washougal Fire Department are developing a new Fire Station 41 and Fire Department Administrative Offices in downtown Camas. This page will serve as the central location for project information and updates as planning, design, and construction progress. Community members are encouraged to visit this page to follow project milestones, view planning documents and architectural renderings, and learn how the project is moving forward.

Updates will be added regularly as important milestones are reached.

Project Overview

The Fire Station 41 and Administrative Office Project will establish a new headquarters location for the Camas-Washougal Fire Department. The new facility will support daily emergency operations while providing modern facilities for firefighters who serve the community 24 hours a day.

The facility will include apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, training and operational support spaces, and administrative offices that support fire department operations across both Camas and Washougal.

Locating the facility in downtown Camas maintains the department’s long-standing presence in the community while improving response readiness and operational efficiency.

Supporting Emergency Services for the Community

Fire service standards have evolved over time, requiring updated facilities that support firefighter health and safety, training capabilities, and modern emergency response equipment.

The new station will provide a facility designed to support the department’s mission while ensuring firefighters have the space, equipment access, and support infrastructure needed to respond effectively to emergencies.

By investing in a modern fire station and administrative offices, the City is strengthening emergency response capabilities for the community today and for future generations.

Project Location

The new facility will be constructed at 528 NE 4th Ave in downtown Camas.

Because the station is located near City Hall, the Camas Public Library, local businesses, and other community spaces, the City and project team are planning construction carefully to maintain public safety and minimize disruption as much as possible.
