About Engage Camas!

Hello and welcome to Engage Camas, a new platform designed with you in mind! We want…scratch that. WE NEED you to get involved in community decisions, provide ideas and feedback, and ultimately, we need to hear your comments and concerns. This is where you can provide those!

Engage Camas is an alternative to traditional public engagement. As many people know, traditional public engagement or community involvement usually involves attending a public meeting or providing a written submission to the City Council. This can be time consuming and inconvenient; it can also be a little intimidating. However, Engage Camas gives you the opportunity to have your say on issues that are important to you, at a time and place of your choosing!

So, what will take place when you’re at Engage Camas? Quite simply, we hope, a conversation.

We will listen to your feedback, provide timely project updates and report back to the community about how your feedback has contributed to the decisions being made.

When residents sign up at Engage Camas, they can provide comments and suggestions, as well as receive updates about projects and areas of personal interest. Each project added to Engage Camas will have an informational section meant to provide background on the project. Additionally, there will be one or more engagement parts on each project page. These will be the spaces where you can provide your thoughts or perspectives.
